Our Story
As a business Whippletree has been established for over 30 years. Originally founded in 1989 to handle forestry contracting, it evolved almost organically, into the present specialist supplier of native Oak, with over 75,000 cu. feet of quality timber in stock.
Traceability
Whippletree insist on purchasing trees at stump from a guaranteed origin which have an official Forestry Commission felling license. Each tree is tagged with a unique reference number in the forest, which stays with each section that is subsequently cut from the log until it is delivered as a final product.
Our Environmental Promise
We are committed to preserving the environment and operating using green and sustainable methods.
Our production process is essentially green too. We largely rely on naturally seasoning products and kiln dry only when necessary.
